What we can help you with:

- Strategic planning
- Business structure improvements
- Building capacity and resource
- Building team culture
- Executive team capability analysis
- 3-5 year business strategies
Timeframe:
Each business transformation is unique and depends on the agreed action plan.
Business challenge:
Our client is the owner of a very successful business, but the team lacked a strategic 5-year plan with measurable targets and goals to lead daily decision-making.
Goal:
To establish five strategic pillars that could be broken down into actionable goals for the coming five years. To get different departments on the same page and each working uniquely toward the overarching goals.
Outcome:
Through Transformaxx Advisory Business Transformation we helped the executive team to get together and nail down the 5-year plan, beyond a year-on-year budget.
By getting everyone’s buy-in, we helped the whole team move from a one-year budget focus to a longer-term five-year focus which meant more accurate decision-making and hiring the right members to achieve the goals at hand.
Finally have the space to explore, think and gain clarity
Executive Coaching
Troubleshoot your problems and whiteboard your ideas with a CEO who has been there. Our 1:1 coaching and mentoring sessions are for founders and CEOs needing support, clarity in decision making and accountability in implementing their strategy.
What we can help you with:
- Goal setting
- Task prioritisation
- Accountability
- Scaling the business
- Addressing bottlenecks
- CEO coaching and mentoring
- Leadership coaching and mentoring
Timeframe:
Depending on what you need, our executive coaching clients usually choose to meet with us every 4-6 weeks for 2-3 hours. These are valuable, flexible sessions that help keep you on track with progressing your goals.
Business challenge:
Our client is incredible at what he does, however, the business quickly outgrew its structure too quickly and somehow he was left wearing all the hats with 25 people reporting directly to him. Always feeling behind, most of his days were about putting out fires before he could sit down and get through his own to-do list.
Goal:
To help our client build a healthier team structure with the right roles in place to free up his time and allow him to experience a healthier work/life balance. He wanted accountability with someone who knows what they are talking about and who has done the process many times before.
Outcome:
At the end of each meeting, our client put a list of priorities together to help him put action to his vision. By the end of our time together, he had built a whole executive team and transformed a store-driven business to now be an online business. He transitioned from needing to be a part of everything to having a whole team working for him. Together, we made his business scalable and future-focused in a way that it could even operate without him one day if need be.

Business challenge:
Our client was the owner of a SAAS software business with an established level of success. The owner was approached by a large corporate that wanted to acquire the business. As this was the client’s first time selling, he had no experience in how to navigate the process and so reached out to us for trusted support.
Goal:
To help our client get the best outcome in the transaction, providing him with non-biased advice that was aligned with his goals. To give our client peace of mind throughout the process knowing he was being coached by someone who has done it all before.
Outcome:
Helping our client with everything from creating an Information Memorandum, a head of terms and a non-binding offer, our experience in knowing what to expect at every turn, helped our client feel confident and clear in his decision-making at each step. By understanding the process, we were able to help reduce the time and emotional energy wasted and help our client get the most money for the best outcome.

Have a question? These FAQs may help:
What is the difference between executive coaching (AKA CEO coaching), business advisory and business consulting?
Consultants usually have a set system, strategy, plan, or approach to analysing your business. At Transformaxx Advisory, Markus and the team offer a completely customised approach, tailoring a unique strategy that is suitable to your founder-driven organisation and its personal intricacies that cannot be addressed with typical corporate structure strategies. As advisors and coaches, we also guide you to your own solutions, helping you make your own discoveries as the expert of your own business.
Do you have a particular style or approach to mentoring and coaching?
At Transformaxx Advisory we believe in working 1:1 with you to formulate a truly unique action plan that is suited to your exact needs. Our sessions look completely diverse and can vary from formal round table discussions and 1:1 whiteboarding sessions to a relaxed conversation over a coffee. We love working with you to help you achieve your goals with an approach that works for you.
Is an executive advisor worth it?
At Transformaxx Advisory we’ve put large multi-million-dollar companies on growth journeys that have seen them grow from 30 to 700 staff in 8 years. Depending on the client’s objective, we’ve assisted in helping them expand their offerings, penetrate new markets and even exit with a higher-than-average return on investment.
I’m interested in M&A… should I use a business broker?
When preparing for a profitable exit, always ensure those you bring in on the process have your best interests at heart. At Transformaxx Advisory, our clients tend to be repeat clients who have built a relationship with Markus over years of multiple, consistently transparent, and positive business dealings. Taking the time to get to know you, understand your family dynamics, align with your goals and hold your hand through the process, Markus’ personal values and moral integrity give our clients full trust and assurance that we have their best interests at heart.
How often do you meet with an executive advisor or coach and how long should executive coaching last?
We advise working with an executive advisor or coach for a minimum of 6-12 months to really allow time for identifying the main challenges, shifting, or moving in the right direction and troubleshooting any new problems that arise with healthy, necessary change.
